MANSEF serves in Annapolis as the voice of Maryland’s nonpublic special education facilities as well as their staff, students and families. MANSEF works to educate legislators about the issues facing Maryland’s special needs students and their families and advocates on behalf of its member schools on budget and policy issues. MANSEF also works closely with the Maryland State Department of Education on issues related to educating special needs students.
We encourage families in MANSEF schools to get involved and help us educate legislators about issues facing the students we serve and their schools.
