Program Description : High Road Upper School of Prince George's County is approved by the Maryland State Department of Education as a nonpublic educational program, serving the instructional and behavioral needs of students with emotional disabilities, autism and other academic and behavioral differences in a supportive and structured environment. The High Road Schools build the confidence and competence of our students through individualized academic and behavioral interventions. The program is designed to focus on personalized academic, behavioral, and career development goals so that the student can return to a less restrictive setting. The High Road School incorporates a variety of educational experiences and utilizes the community to provide the students with meaningful job related experiences. Parental participation is encouraged and integrated into the school setting.
