Program Description : This program is designed to meet students' special education needs while providing maximum opportunity to integrate the students in Severna Park's educational program. From the Hannah More classroom, students mainstream into classes within this public school and have access to all school facilities and programs (e.g. media center, cafeteria, computer lab, etc.). The Anne Arundel County Public Schools curriculum is implemented in the Hannah More classroom. Students spend time in the Hannah More classes and general education classes based on their readiness and special education needs.
Related Services : Individual, group and family counseling, speech language and crisis intervention. Other related services (e.g. occupational therapy, physical therapy, etc.) are also provided as determined by the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
